Can you donate a car to charity?

Question asked by*~Cam’s Mommy ~*: Can you donate a car to charity?
The car needs a transmission and it won’t run utnil that’s fixed. Everything else is in good condition and it has less than 100k on it I just need to get the car off of my hands. Will they still take it? Will they come pick it up? How does it work on your taxes as far as a deduction is concerned? Any good charities out there?

They usually take anything and will tow it to pick it up. It will give you a tax deduction, but if the car is a vegetable, don’t expect much.
